Laser Machine for Endo-urology & Stone Treatment

PKC Abbottabad is committed to provide world class treatment to the population it serves. It already has an established dialysis programme and has now opened a state of the art operation theatre. This is providing vascular access procedures alongside day case & short stay urological procedures Alhamdulillah. It’s services include providing advanced endourological procedures for stones. Laser treatment for stones is the cornerstone for providing such a facility.

Future Projects

Inshallah with your support PKC will be the first centre in the Northern areas of Pakistan to provide such a facility on regular basis. It is backed up by a team of highly skilled urologists from both the UK and Pakistan.

The Litho device is a surgical laser that is able to treat stones and soft tissue surgery with ease. It’s radiation is strongly absorbed by water, resulting in effective haemostasis and limited depth of penetration. It can also be used in the resection and ablation of different soft tissues and due to its compact tower its easy to store, and transport and use in different hospital wards.

The laser machine as seen incurs a cost of approx £25,000. Let’s make this happen TOGETHER and play our part. Inshallah this will help in providing high quality care to the 1000s of underprivileged transforming their lives and hence become means of getting unmeasurable rewards in Aakhira. May Allah SWT accept your sacrifices and multiply the rewards manifold. Just Giving.
